Who's tougher really; the pampered, preening, catwalk supermodels or the let it all hang out women of Playboy?

In the interest of scientific curiosity - and to help resolve this long-running debate - our reporter jermaine has taken keyboard in hand to attempt to answer the question once and for all. While everyone may not agree with the outcome of every match, perhaps this will help put things in perspective. Or not!

The sold out arena was jam-packed with hundreds of VIP high rollers and movie star celebrities who paid astronomical sums for their tickets. The 'cheap seats' started at $1000 and for those at ringside the sky was the limit!

The ring was circular, 30' across. The rules - all out catfight, no holds barred, win by submission or when your opponent can't continue.

Each team was led by a charismatic and strong willed captain; Cindy Crawford for the Supermodels and Karen McDougal for Team Playboy. The captains met in the center of the ring but when Karen extended her hand in a show of good sportsmanship, Cindy ignored her, concentrating instead on giving the busty Playmate an intimidating stare down. Cindy was intent on being the heel in the event and she quickly got the crowd booing and hissing her presence - just as planned. Karen was all too willing to play the face, but her determined expression signaled to the crowd, and Cindy, that she'd be anything but a pushover.

Each team consisted of nine members. The first team to win five matches would be the victor. The final match of the contest would pit the two team captains against each other and the fans were unanimous in their desire to see the matches evenly split so they wouldn't be cheated out of the sight of a Crawford-McDougal catfight with everything on the line!
