THE WATCHER FILES PART TWO by Interac

As the table illuminated the Watcher's all sat there looking at pictures of previous matches.
Number One: "Kelly Monaco and Alyssa Milano. We set that up easily by letting Kelly have some R&R from her Soap Opera duties and sending her to a spa that was 'Well recommended'. Knowing that was where Alyssa usually went, and that Alyssa has always had a distaste for both Playmates and Soap Opera's, all we had to do was to have someone goad her into talking about it. Kelly defended the honor and it was a hell of a fight."

Number Six spoke up: "Yes, but imagine if Alyssa had been a hundred percent. We've all heard her comments on the set, that she'll destroy any Playmate just to get a chance at retribution. Kelly, on the other hand, doesn't care about Alyssa; she merely saw her as a stepping stone. This is an uncertainty to Alyssa; Kelly's an enemy. But to Kelly, Alyssa's simply an annoyance. As we all look at our lists, just how many of these people say that about Alyssa Milano."

Number One, always the voice of calm as well as the leader: "So they're not true enemies, yet. A lot of you have had questions about our pure rivals section; there are three women for each fighter who we believe are natural rivals. The only choice so far is Jennifer Love Hewitt and Rachel Stevens. How it is decided that just the sight of one or the other is enough to set them off. They hate each other so much there's no other choice but to fight. Jennifer almost had reached that enmity level Rachel Leigh Cook, but I want to hold off a while before that fight. And speaking of those two, how was that set up Number Eight?"

Number Eight: "I take full credit for that. I set it up so all these actors and actresses were at the party. Knowing Hewitt's feeling for Cook I had to act fast. Our print shop made up that magazine with the article quoting Chriqui on her part in the Emmanuelle Chriqui-Jennifer Love Hewitt fight. Now, we all know Jennifer's got quite an ego about her body; it all just boiled over to a surprisingly competitive fight. I honestly thought Emmanuelle would've given Jennifer a decent fight but not to that point!

“As for the Shiri Appleby-Rachel Leigh Cook fight, I told Shiri I heard some noise that sounded like a fight upstairs and when she went up an saw Emmanuelle, she made her comment. Rachel reacted and Shiri proved she's very tough - someone to watch out for here."

Number One: "Both fights were very entertaining, but there was one fight we had that was not only NOT entertaining it was a one sided drubbing in fact. Rachel Stevens destroyed Helena Bonham Carter! Rachel has proven to all of us she’s the real deal; a tough gal who likes to beat anyone who gets in her way. She destroyed Carter who, by the way, I propose here and now we remove from the list. All those in favor say AYE!" Everyone quickly replies, "Aye!"

Number One: "Opposed?" No one says a word, so Number One continues, "That’s done. Now, let’s talk about the fight I did enjoy. Two new fighters with no experience, ripping each other apart. Later on down the road, we’ll set up a rematch between Kristen Kreuk and Mila Kunis to see if they truly hate each other or if this once was enough and Mila’s afraid to face her again. That fight, of course, was set up by the classic, never-fail tactic of putting both up for the same part. Now let's get down to some new business, Number Two?"

Number Two? "It’s time to decide the next group of ten. There are so many to chose from we always have to try and add some new people to the mix. That’s why I propose a fight between two songbirds, Nelly Furtado and Shakira." He presses two buttons and pictures of both women appear on the vid-screen wall.

Number Seven: "Rachel Stevens is in the US right now. I propose a fight between her and another woman who, if she didn’t fear Jennifer so much, could give her a good fight. But since Hewitt defeated her soundly and thoroughly, she won't fight her again. A Rachel Stevens-Lacey Chabert fight should help clear up the picture."

Number One: "Good choice indeed! Two full-bodied women. Rumor has it Rachel wants to have a sexfight before she and Jennifer have it on in one. I wonder if this would be it?"

Number Seven: “Well, sexfights ARE still fights per our charter. As long as it’s between two women, we don’t care remember. One must win and the other must lose."

Number One: "I wrote the rules, so I DO know them. Number Ten, you had a choice of who should fight next."

Number Ten: "Yes, since we’re trying to get new women involved, what about young Anna Faris from those ‘Scary Movies’ who I was thinking should take on someone who was a former child star and now is having trouble finding work as a supporting player, Soleil Moon Frye."

Number One: "Excellent choices! It will be the first fight for both to my knowledge. OK, we need two more."

Number Six: "Well. this one is all set so we won't have to do any work for it. You all know who I'm talking about, Hewitt and Cook. I say we finally let ‘em fight!"

Number One: "Agreed! I’d like to know just who’d win between those two anyway. One last fight. Anyone?"

Number Four: "How about a fight between the two most talented, beautiful, smart women in Hollywood, either one could take it over"

Number One getting excited, "My God, your not talking about Char..."

Number Four: "YES! Natalie Portman and Reese Witherspoon! That should be the jewel of the bunch."

The ten men looked at the list of fights coming up, salivating.

Number One: “Fellow Watchers, these are our next five fights. It’s up to you to set the girls up. Lie, scheme, bribe, twist arms, do whatever it is you do to make it happen. Here are their names and opponents:"

Match #1: Nelly Furtado vs. Shakira
Match #2: Rachel Stevens vs. Lacey Chabert
Match #3: Anna Faris vs. Soleil Moon Frye
Match #4: Rachel Leigh Cook vs. Jennifer Love Hewitt
Match #5: Reese Witherspoon vs. Natalie Portman
